The Student Room has a new government

With 27.9% of the vote  the TSR Conservative party won by a very small majority, however when converted into seats this left them tied on 14 with TSR Labour and so parties were given 7 days to form a coalition majority.

The 7 representative parties posted their manifestos on the 10th of October and members of the world’s largest student network had 10 days to make their decision of who they would want to represent them for the next 6 months. After discussions totaling over 1000 posts voting closed a decision was made.

The result of this means that the new government of The Student Room will be a coalition between TSR Conservative and TSR Libertarian parties. The full results can be seen here.
