Students think strawberries are not just a winner at Wimbledon but all Summer long
With sunshine creeping through amidst cloudy days, students have been discussing their favourite fruits for summer time refreshment.
In a poll on The Student Room, students voted on their favourite fruit for use in snacks, desserts, or simply as one of their five a day!
Berries featured heavily in the poll options, with strawberries chosen as the cream of the crop!
Among the more exotic favourites mangoes came out on top with coconut at the bottom of the fruit barrel.
Even with this fruit cocktail of choices between rustic berries and foreign but not so forbidden fruits, students showed a passion for all the bounty nature has to offer, and the option of “Other” came joint second receiving the same number of votes as mangoes.
