Lincoln university student gets creative, gets ‘banned’

A student at Lincoln University has created a set of ‘banned’ adverts to promote the uni in an unorthodox way using a ‘shaun of the dead’ style zombie attack to get students to “order a prospectus”.

With over 400,000 views in less than 10 days it’s been a big hit already and it hasn’t gone unnoticed by The Student Room’s users either.

A selection of comments from Student Room members  below, there seems to be confusion as to whether the video was produced by a student or by the university marketing team:

“Freaking awesome advert

“Proud to be a Lincolner right now”

“Funnier than the mention they got in The Inbetweeners? I’m not too sure…”
